PTFA: Want a Happier, Calmer Home? Let’s Do This Together

As a parent, I’ve learned that raising children doesn’t come with a handbook - and sometimes it feels like we’re all just figuring it out as we go. That’s why I’m really happy our school is offering another Family Links Nurturing Programme this Autumn.  My wife and I took part in this course several years ago and it was eye opening!

This isn’t just another “parenting course” It’s about giving us, as parents, tools to:

  • Build our children’s confidence and emotional health
  • Understand how our own upbringing shapes the way we parent
  • Encourage cooperation and manage challenging behaviour in a positive way
  • Strengthen empathy, respect, and healthy boundaries at home

What I love most is that it’s designed to support both children and parents - helping us create a home environment where everyone can flourish (yes my wife still pulls me up on some of it!).

There’s a coffee morning on Wednesday 1st October (9–10am) in the Schoolhouse where you can hear more and meet other parents who are interested. I’ll be there - because parenting is hard work, but we don’t have to do it alone.

If you’re curious, I’d really encourage you to come along. Let’s do this for our kids, and for ourselves.
